Gong Xi Fa Cai

Been MIA for the last few days as we take in the Chinese New Year celebrations. We've been gambling and eating as usual but this time we've been lugging 2 kids around with us! Eugene just had the computer set up two days ago so I'll try to update my blog now that the kids are asleep - finally! They've been sleeping really late everyday but they seem to wake up at their usual times in the morning. Not good for us as we are still zombies at 8.30am.

Living in a two storey apartment takes some getting used to, I need to plan in advance what I want to take upstairs and what I want to bring downstairs. So far, the plan doesn't work and I end up walking up and down the stairs at least 20 to 30times a day. Erm, good to keep my leg muscles strong and burn that pizza I had on Wednesday.

Here are my darlings in their festive garb on the first day of the Chinese New Year. Cute clothes but helluva difficult to put on! Those frog buttons can drive you crazy especially when the two jokers fidget like mad!

It's only day 6 of CNY and we've got another 3 or 4 parties to attend before the 15th day - that means more eating and gambling - ha ha. Renee's been having a blast because she gets to drink sweet packet drinks, something kinda forbidden on normal days. Muruku, pineapple tarts, cashew nuts, wow, you name it, she eats it. Oink. Oh sorry, it's M-OO! Happy Year of the Ox everyone!
